🔢 Four counting games in one case – from the simplest recognition of quantity to making pairs. “Eduludo – First Numbers” is a Djeco set in which 60 little animal figures become a child’s first mathematics: we count, we compare, we match into pairs.
✨ What does this set develop?
- Counting one by one – the figures can be held, so number becomes something concrete;
- The link between quantity and numeral – four different games explain the same thing in four ways;
- Making pairs and groups – the first classification skills;
- Following the rules of a game – waiting your turn, rolling the die, accepting the result.
🎲 How to play at home
Start with the easiest game: roll the die and put out as many animals as it shows. Once your child does that confidently, move on to the harder variants in the booklet. The fabric bag also lets you play “blind” – the child pulls out a figure without looking and has to recognise it with their fingers.
🧑🏫 Tips for specialists
Four games of differing difficulty in one set – handy in a group where the children are at different levels: everyone plays with the same material but by different rules. The figures are large enough to develop fine motor skills, and the bag is perfect for tactile discrimination.
