About us

Our journey into the world of educational and sensory aids began in a very personal way.

We are raising two children. Our eldest son was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder in early childhood, so from the very start we found ourselves searching for specialists, working through therapies and facing a shortage of suitable aids. As we looked for products that are not only beautiful but genuinely educational and of real help to a child, we realised just how hard it is to find reliable, high-quality solutions all in one place.

Talking with specialists, observing their practice and studying the methods used abroad, we saw the kind of aids that highly qualified speech and language therapists and educators really work with. That is how the idea for „Garsų loto“ was born – an educational aid built around developing phonemic awareness. At the time no such product existed in Lithuania, so the first part of „Garsų loto“ was created on the basis of international professional practice and adapted for Lithuanian children.

It is an aid based on a simple but extremely versatile principle, made up of 120 cards with sounds that are familiar to children: from animals to everyday sounds of the world around them. Practice has shown that children love this aid and that it is widely used in nurseries and in speech therapy sessions. Seeing the real benefit it brings, we decided to take the idea further.

That is how new parts of „Garsų loto“ came about, and continue to come about – now created entirely from scratch, in collaboration with illustrators, broadening the themes and deepening the content. We pay particular attention to developing phonemic awareness, which matters both for children with developmental differences and for typically developing children. It is important to us that a single educational aid should be versatile, long-lasting and able to take the place of many different games.

Alongside the products we create ourselves, we carefully select educational and sensory aids from trusted, internationally recognised manufacturers. We deliberately avoid cheap, mass-produced toys – our aim is to offer high-quality, meaningful solutions that are still rarely found in Lithuania, for children, parents and professionals alike.

In the products we develop in the future we want to reflect the Lithuanian context even more strongly – through sounds, surroundings, the seasons and places children recognise. We believe that education can be not only useful, but also close to home, alive and inspiring.

This is more than an online shop – it is a project born of experience, responsibility and a sincere wish to help children grow through meaningful play.
