Balance Board “Little Turtle” Tortuga (Amaya Sport)

This unique turtle-shaped balance board is made for active physical development, with maximum safety and stability. The ergonomic design lets children rock safely from side to side, sitting or standing, building body control, coordination and confidence in their own strength.

✨ What it develops

• Balance and dynamic stability – standing or sitting on the board, children learn to control their centre of gravity, which is the foundation of good posture and movement control.
• Proprioceptive stimulation – deep sensation is stimulated through constant weight shifting, helping the brain understand the body’s position in space and respond to its surroundings.
• Muscle strength and tone – the legs, back and abdominal muscles are actively engaged, and they matter not only in sport but also in holding attention while sitting at a table.
• Gross motor skills – overall body movement and agility are developed, while the integrated handles give beginners an extra sense of safety.
• Coordination and reaction – special elements on the base allow controlled turns and movements, teaching the body to adapt quickly to a changing surface.

🎯 Where it is used

This professional aid is ideal for nursery gyms, primary school PE lessons and specialised therapy centres. Speech and language therapists and occupational therapists can use the board successfully in sensory integration sessions, helping children focus through movement. It is also excellent equipment for sensory rooms, where the aim is to develop the child’s body awareness and coordination during individual or group sessions.
