🎯 Joy, surprise, anger, fear… The puzzle set “10 Emotions” is a collection of ten puzzles showing the ten basic emotions that steer our behaviour. The difficulty increases as you go – 3, 4 and 6 pieces – so you can start at barely two years old and grow along with your child, while the model cards help them recognise and name the emotion.
✨ What does this aid develop?
- Emotional intelligence – 10 basic emotions: happiness, confidence, admiration, curiosity, surprise, anger, disgust, sadness, fear and guilt;
- Fine motor skills – assembling large pieces;
- Attention and visual perception – the parts are joined into a whole;
- Talking about feelings – every completed emotion invites a conversation.
🎲 How to play at home
Start with the simplest 3-piece puzzles and gradually move up to the 6-piece ones. Once an emotion is assembled, name it together and ask: when do you feel like this? Show me what your surprised face looks like? The model cards can travel into everyday life too – let your child point in the morning to the emotion they feel today.
🧑🏫 Tips for specialists
This is one of the first emotional learning aids that can be used even before speech has developed – which makes it valuable for speech and language therapists and special education teachers working with very young children or children with delayed speech: the emotion is assembled with the hands first, and the word comes afterwards. The thick, large pieces also suit weaker motor skills.
📦 What’s in the set
- 10 sturdy cardboard puzzles (15,6 × 15,6 cm) of 3, 4 and 6 pieces;
- 10 model cards (5,8 × 5,8 cm).
Please note: the game instructions may be in Spanish, but the game is simple and the clear pictures mean you can start playing straight away.
👶 Who is it for?
Recommended from 2 years. A first alphabet of emotions for little ones at home, in nurseries and in specialists’ rooms – puzzles that help the youngest recognise and name what is going on in their hearts.
