🦁 “Where Animals Live” is an educational association game in which a child rolls the big die and works out where each animal lives: on the farm, in the jungle, in the desert, at the poles or in the sea. The child pairs the animal cards with the right habitat card and so gets to know the variety of nature. The big die and the colourful cards turn learning into a fun game full of movement.

✨ What does this game develop?

  • Attention and focus – the child studies the animals and their habitats closely in order to match them correctly;
  • Logical thinking – by linking an animal with the right habitat, the child grasps causal relationships and learns to classify;
  • Vocabulary and verbal fluency – naming the animals and the places they live widens vocabulary and teaches connected speech.

🎲 How to play at home?

Lay out the five habitat cards and ask your child to roll the big die. Depending on the habitat that comes up, the child looks for the animals that live there and places them on the right habitat card. Encourage the child to say out loud what the animal is and why it lives there. You can play together, collecting animals one at a time, or race to see who fills their habitat first.

🧑‍🏫 Tips for professionals

Speech and language therapists and teachers use the game to enrich vocabulary and develop language – the child names the animals and habitats and builds sentences about who lives where. Grouping animals by habitat develops logical thinking and the skills of classifying and generalising. The game is ideal for nature topics and for exploring the world. The element of movement – rolling the die – holds attention and draws in even the more restless children.

📦 What is in the set?

  • 5 habitat base cards (7,5 cm sides);
  • 1 big die (3,5 cm edge);
  • 30 animal cards (7,5 x 7,5 cm).

👶 Who is it for?

The game is intended for children from 3 years. Perfect for nurseries, speech and language therapists and parents who want to develop their child’s language, logical thinking and knowledge of the world through play.
