These sensory liquid floor tiles are an innovative professional aid created to spark children’s curiosity and visual awareness through active movement and exploration. Each tile is filled with a special colourful liquid that responds dynamically to pressure, so even a simple walk across the floor turns into an absorbing sensory adventure that invites movement and shows cause and effect at work.
✨ What it develops
- Sensory integration – the bright, contrasting colours and the constantly changing patterns of liquid give strong visual stimulation, which helps children process information from their surroundings better.
- Understanding cause and effect – the child sees directly how the spot they step on or press with a hand pushes the liquid aside, and learns to understand the influence of their actions on their surroundings.
- Gross motor skills and balance – the tiles encourage children to walk, jump or stand on one leg, developing coordination and overall body stability in the form of a game.
- Emotional regulation – the slow, fluid flow of colour has a calming effect, helps children relax and focus, and reduces sensory overload.
- Tactile and visual exploration – the aid motivates children to take an interest in physical phenomena, to explore surfaces and to watch colours mix.
🎯 Where it is used
This professional equipment is indispensable when creating sensory rooms, quiet spaces or active movement zones. It is ideal for nurseries, primary schools and special education centres. Speech and language therapists and occupational therapists often use these tiles as a motivating element during therapy sessions, to encourage a child to perform particular movements or tasks. They are also an excellent solution for child development centres and for the home, where the aim is to create a safe and stimulating play space.
