🦷 ARK Bite-n-Chew is a special tip for the Z-Vibe® tool, created to develop biting and chewing skills. The yellow, slimmer tip with its raised texture helps children learn to hold a bite, strengthens the jaw and accustoms the mouth to different textures – safely, with no choking risk.
✨ What does this tip develop?
- Biting and chewing skills – learning to bite down and to hold the bite;
- Jaw strength and stability – regular exercise strengthens the chewing muscles;
- Sensory tolerance – the raised texture accustoms the mouth to the feel of an uneven surface;
- Oral motor skills – it is also used on the outside (cheeks, lips) for extra stimulation.
🎲 How to use it at home
Screw the tip onto the Z-Vibe® handle and let your child bite the slimmer end – at first without vibration, then with it switched on so the stimulus is stronger. The tip can also be stroked gently over the cheeks or lips before a meal. Short, playful sessions of 2–3 minutes several times a day work better than one long “lesson”.
🧑🏫 Tips for specialists
The Bite-n-Chew range is built for gradual progression: you begin with slimmer, smooth tips and move on to thicker, textured ones (a larger diameter puts more load on the jaw). This version is the slimmer, textured one: a suitable step after the smooth tip when working with oral sensitivity or moving from puréed food to textures with lumps. It attaches to the standard Z-Vibe® / Z-Grabber handle.
