Dynamic sand is probably the most versatile sensory material in the therapy room: “messy” enough to be interesting, yet it leaves no traces the way water or paint does, so it suits more sensitive children too. The moulds turn free play into a structured task (fill, press, turn out – a three-step sequence). It works beautifully as a calming activity after an intense session.
